Toshihiro Osaragi is Professor of School of Environment and Society, Institute of Science Tokyo, and is among of the founders of Geographic Information Systems Association (GISA, Japan). His research aims to elucidate the laws relating to various environmental elements in architectural and urban spaces and people's behavioral characteristics. Systematizing these laws is essential for building a planning theory for architectural and urban planning which considers human factors at its core. Prof. Osaragi explores a diverse range of themes in architectural planning, urban analysis, regional disaster prevention planning, and spatial information science. His work has won numerous awards at international conferences including GISTAM 2020, EnviroInfo 2019, ISCRAM 2017, AGILE 2013, AGILE 2012 and more.
